Dr Ranga Rao

Dr Ranga Rao did his Psychiatry training in NIMHANS Bangalore India. He works as a Consultant Psychiatrist/Clinical Director with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He is the Royal College of Psychiatrists National Lead for acute inpatient care and in this capacity is the policy lead for the Acute Care Commission chaired by Lord Nigel Crisp. In addition, he is a Clinical Associate with Emergency Care Improvement support team, NHSI. He has an active interest in teaching/training and edited the Royal College Publications book OSCEs in Psychiatry.
